Caring for your knives

Your Ross Henery Professional knives are made from stainless steel selected for its strength and resistance to corrosion. Stainless steel is not rustproof: prolonged exposure to moisture, salt or acidic foods can cause staining or corrosion.

For best performance and to help your knives last longer:

• Hand wash only. Wash promptly after use with mild washing-up liquid. Dishwasher use is not recommended.
• Do not soak. Rinse away salt water, acidic foods and other residues promptly.
• Dry thoroughly. Use a soft cloth to dry the whole knife, including the handle.
• Avoid abrasive cleaning. Do not use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.
• Keep the blade sharp. A blunt knife can require more force and may slip. Sharpen and handle your knives with care.
• Do not attempt repairs yourself. A damaged knife may be unsafe to use. Contact our customer service team for advice.

Two-year warranty

Rohen Ltd, makers of Ross Henery Professional knife sets, provides a two-year warranty for these knives. To make a warranty claim, please provide:

• Proof of purchase, such as a receipt, packing slip or invoice
• Your order number
• Photos of the damage
• A short description of the issue

We aim to respond to complete claims within seven days of receiving the information above.

Damage caused by neglecting the care instructions, misuse or unauthorised repairs may not be covered by the warranty. Please refer to the warranty terms supplied with your order for full details. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights, which are not affected.
